Redknee signs agreement with Telekom Austria Group

Redknee, a provider of business-critical billing and charging software for communications service providers, has signed a multi-year global framework agreement with Telekom Austria Group in Europe. The deal is worth more than $6 million USD and will enable the group operator to improve operational efficiency and advance its market position.

Telekom Austria Group aims to provide a superior customer experience by deploying the solution, which provides group operators with the ability to converge all of their systems, including voice, messaging, data, mobile and fixed lines, to gain simplicity and transparency to charge and bill for any transaction regardless of the payment method.

According to Günther Ottendorfer, CTO at Telekom Austria Group, “this strategic deal is part of our objective to expand our presence in existing markets by delivering differentiated communications solutions to our customers. With Redknee as a critical player for our strategy, we are confident we will achieve our goals now and in the future.”
