NetCracker Technology announced that Axia NetMedia Corporation has selected its BSS/OSS Solution to provide a single, next-generation platform for Axia’s Charge Generation, Customer Management, and OSS. Axia sells services over fiber optic communications infrastructure and has networks in Alberta, France, Spain, Singapore, and Massachusetts. Axia sought a BSS/OSS solution to enable complex quoting and fulfillment scenarios involving multiple, variable, and new cost components; to define new and dynamically chargeable components to create targeted offerings; and to render the resulting data into accurate, manageable, billable customer charges. The project is scheduled to be completed within a 10-month time frame.
NetCracker also announced that Claro Brazil, an America Movil operating company and the second largest mobile operator in Brazil with close to 59 million subscribers, chose its Telecom Operations and Management solution. Claro will utilize NetCracker’s platform to create a unified view of its transport network; introduce new services; improve service quality and service delivery through greater visibility and control over transport network assets; and enable faster adoption of new technologies as the company expands its network footprint.
These two announcements reflect NetCracker’s ability to meet demand for both OSS and BSS solutions in network- and customer-facing roles; to support significant, Tier-1 scale; and to deliver its product set across multiple, global regions.
